Probate

Probate is the legal process of administering an estate after someone dies. Through probate, property passes directly to the beneficiaries named in the decedent’s Will. Upon the death of a loved one, Mr. Bishop provides the following services:

• Probate of Wills (Letters Testamentary or Muniment of Title)
• Assistance identifying the deceased person’s property
• Administration of a decedent’s estate and determination of heirship for a person who dies without a Will or Trust
• Assistance transferring property as directed by the Will
• Preparation of accountings, if required
